What are some of your tricks for lowering your a1c levels?
Easier said than done, but a few minor things that have worked for me:
Just being more vigilant about your BGs and patterns. I was on diabetes auto-pilot for a long time, correcting highs and lows as they came along but not really paying attention. Learn to regularly review your logs or sensor graphs and DO SOMETHING with them–not just glance at them.
Wear your sensor all the time and test at LEAST 6 times a day. I typically test as soon as I wake up, mid morning, before lunch, mid afternoon, before dinner, and before bed at a minimum.
Regular exercise–the more the better.
I’m interested in what others have to say here as well.
