Hello! My name is Ann Elizabeth, and I am obviously new to this website! I am 16 years old, and I have been playing tennis since I was 8 on and off. The past 3 years I have been playing competitively. When I am on the tennis court it feels like home to me. It feels like it is a place to get away when I am frustrated with diabetes that day. Does anybody else feel this way? Maybe about another sport? If so I would love to talk to someone about it
Hi there Ann Elizabeth. I’m Riaan, 22 years old and I also love tennis. I play at least 3 times a week and try to play competitively as much as possible. I totally understand when you say it is a place to escape. For me it doesn’t only help with diabetes frustration but with any negative emotions I have at that time. It’s a great stress reliever.
I’m Zoe and I’m also 16.
I play tennis competitively, and I’m so glad someone else understands the diabetes tennis mix!
I’d love to talk to you if you want a new friend! Feel free to message/email me
