So I just got some blood work results back and I had some questions for you guys. My calcium numbers are a little elevated which is kind of freaking me out. My doctor didn't really want to talk about reasons yet. He is having me come back for another test this week to make sure the results were accurate. However, I am freaking out a little at this point. From what I have read, the most common cause of too much calcium in your blood is hyperthyroidism. This wouldn't really surprise me, since I have heard many diabetics end up with thyroid issues and vice versa. I just don't know how worried I should be at this point. If any of you have any advice or words of confidence, I would really appreciate it. Thanks.
