I heard somewhere about putting...er, I think Metamucil? That substance that is whitish and is used to combat mild stomach issues...it supposedly dries out the area...
I sprayed Arrid one time...nothing doing on spray antiperspirant. It seems to chemically risky somehow. I use these IV preps...you have to scrub the area and let it dry...I didn't know about the whole let it dry aspect. I used to wave my hand a few times and then put the new site in.
Another thing: one of those single hole punchers comes in handy with sites that have tubing...I take a site tape, fold it in half, then punch one hole in the middle. The tape then goes where the little remaining I guess canula is...and you can put the detachable site connector back on without having to mess with tape.
But I'm like Gina...not a tape in the world will stick in certain situations. I had a site move today...but I seem to be still receiving insulin, so I'm not messing with it. There's that lint circle that goes around sites after three days or so...and there's two now...it's weird. But then, it could be that the heat helped keep my levels down, so I am staying on top of my BG in the next few hours. Long post...ya'll just made me think about a lot.
And a hot tub in snowy weather sounds amazing. I love to sit in a hot car for a few hours...sometimes, on occasion, being hypothyroid has its advantages.
