I work at a preschool that integrates deaf children in with typically developing kids. Last Fri, we had pajama day, so I attached my dexcom receiver to the PJ bottoms b/c they had no pockets. One of the hearing kids (2 1/2 years old) was very interested, asking me questions, etc. I tried to explain how I had a machine in my tummy and is tells me if I'm healthy or need medicine...

Today, I hadn't done laundry, so I wore a skirt to school. I had my receiver on the outside of my skirt again (only the 2nd time this year -- I always keep it in my pocket). The same little girl was very confused and asked, "Mrs. K., why are you still in your pajamas?" After a minute, I figured out she must think the dexcom is part of my PJ's. (:
