It was an SNES game back in the day that featured a diabetic superhero who bounced around eating snacks and balancing his blood sugar while stomping on sugary sweets, riding motor boats, and saving the president!
Who remembers this game? We used to have a whole system set up at the diabetic clinic I used to go to as a child.
That said, does anyone know of any references to diabetes in video games, movies, or other mass media (besides the 6:00 news)?
