My child was recently diagnosed

Last Wed. I took my son (8 y.o) to the Dr because he wasn’t feeling well for a few days and we noticed that it looked like he was very thin. Dr came back and gave us the news that he was T1D. We went to the hospital and they put him in the ICU because he was in DKA. We are home now and everyone is trying to adjust. It’s harder for him because he is the one getting stuck 8x’s a day. While I stayed in the hospital with him, my husband made a “Menu” just for him. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack and drink; what he can have and how many carbs each has. He can have 15-20 grams for snack and 30-50 grams for meals. We didn’t want to call it a new diet because, well, that’s not “fun” for an 8 y.o.
If anyone has any meals within those grams that they would like to share, I would greatly appreciate it. As I obviously have no clue what I am doing, I am new at all of this and it is rather intimidating.
Thank you so much
