So I know that I've posted this at least 2 years in a row now :)
I have once again signed up to take a frigid dip in the Chesapeake Bay on January 29, 2011. This is the 15th Annual Polar Bear Plunge and it is held by the MD State Police and all proceeds benefit Special Olympics Maryland.
This is my 5th year participating in this cool event and once again I am out on the path to hit my donation goal ($1500). "What's in it for me?" you ask? Well, you get the satisfaction of knowing you contributed to a very worthy cause. Did I mention your donations are tax deductible? Also, you get to enjoy (or cringe at) pictures of me running around Sandy Point State Park (in Maryland) in next to nothing at the end of January. It's totally worth it!
Below you will find the link to my personal donation page. All online donations are secure. If you are not comfortable donating online, there is a link on the page for a "Donation Form" which you may print out and mail in your contribution that way.
If anyone has any questions, please don't hesitate to ask me. Thanks again for those who have already donated and thanks in advance for your contributions and support.
