Hi ladies...so I have read that the first trimester is the MOST important for keeping your A1C down and bloodsugars PERECT. What do you find to eat for meals that keep your bloodsugars fairly predictable or stable? I am 5 weeks and counting...hoping the little bean sticks.
Breakfast has always been my biggest challenge, so I try to go really light on the carbs. I make a homemade yogurt parfait (Light N Fit Dannon vanilla yogurt w/ fresh berries and just a small bit of granola), or scrambled egg w/ pc of toast, or Eggo waffle w/ peanut butter. Those are my 3 standard breakfast foods that seem to work best, but I do switch it up sometimes.
Thanks Theresa, I will give it a try :)
