What does everyone think of the new My plate icon?
I have a hard time getting my daughter to try new things and eat the things she is supposed to. For some reason, she almost always objects to the carbs I put on her plate. For instance she LOVED peas before her diagnosis and now because they are a starchy veggie she hates them. Used to LOVE grapes and now they make her gag.
I think the plate is a good reference for her because it has a lot of room for good sources of carbs, however I am still fairly new at this stuff. Opinions??
