Things to Eat Before a Workout

Are there any foods that you have found to help stabilize your blood sugars during a workout? If so, please share! :slight_smile:

peanut butter and crackers

Protein, preferably in a smoothie. Fruits, kale, honey, and some flack seed. PB is great too. Then gel shots during the workout if it’s an endurance cardio type of workout. Short core strengthening workouts, I don’t feed during, but some after.

A slow acting carb, like a peanut butter sandwich. Or a small fruit and a piece of toast.
