Several months ago I was with my group of adult special needs students waiting for the bus. One of my students uses forearm metal crutches because she has cerebral palsy. My insulin pump beeped and when she saw it she asked me about it. She could NOT believe that I had to rely on that pump to live. She told me that she felt so sorry for me. This child of God who has never walked to a bus stop unaided felt sorry for me! Days like that remind me to thank God every day for my many blessings and the people that He places in my life lest I should forget!
