I tried these for breakfast last weekend and they are a.w.e.s.o.m.e. I will definitely be making them again. The best part is that these did good with my blood sugar (many new things I've tried lately sky rocket my sugars, but this one didn't!). Has anyone else tried a new recipe lately?
Here it is:
Bacon Cheddar Wraps
1 can of crescent rolls
8 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 cup of sharp cheddar cheese, grated
4 peppadew peppers, chopped (optional)
Instructions: Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray. Preheat oven to 375. Lay crescent rolls out (do not have them rolled together, instead "undo" them so that they lay flat). Lay the cheese, bacon, and peppedew peppers on the crescents. Fold over and make sure to seal the edges. Bake for 20 minutes. Flip over and bake for another 5-10 minutes.
