I’ve gotten a couple of email messages with a heading regarding a Medtronic insulin pump lawsuit and a helpful “click here” link to get additional information. Since I no longer use Medtronic and was pretty sure I was no longer on their making list, I checked the sender and found that a couple of people are using that Company’s good name to phish for information, so I reported it.
Be sure to confirm the sender if you receive messages regarding lawsuits or recalls.
I’ve gotten the same emails, Dorie. My thinking is the same as yours, it’s a phishing expedition!
